Brief History of ROUTIN

 

1883 : Philibert Routin created the Company Vermouth Routin

1938 : Ren¨¦ CLOCHET took over the company

1960 : Development of activity linked to a thriving alpine tourism business.

1966 : A new factory was built at Bissy

1971 : Ren¨¦ CLOCHET's children take over the reigns of the company

1976 : Another factory for the manufacture of syrups was built at Voglans

1983 : Business was expanded to Northern Europe

1987 : Research and Development and Sensory Analysis Laboratories Bissy plant

1990 : Transfer of the syrup manufacture to the newly constructed Cristal Factory

1994 : Development of two strong brands :

- MONTANIA : Plant based alcohols
- FRUISS : Syrups

1994 : Launch of 1883 : Professionals gourmet Syrups

1996 & 1998 : 2 packaging awards for Fruiss surprise (surprise cap & square can)

2004 : Packaging award for Fruiss Source d'¨¦nergie

2006 : Launch of Fruiss Sugar Free

Largest manufacturer of private label syrups in Europe & the Largest syrup exporter
